The Elite League has cancelled all remaining ice hockey matches for the rest of the 2019/2020 season.
The decision was made due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Two teams have players in self-isolation as a precaution but the “health and safety of our fans, players and staff is paramount.” said the EIHL.
The Elite League felt there was no other option but to cancel the rest of the season due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
They said: “The outcome is sure to disappoint fans across the country there was no alternative in the unprecedented times.”
The EIHL have confirmed there will be more announcements next week.
